Weekend Wedding
What? A whole weekend? Yes.
Can't we just rock up, throw a casserole dish down, get some food and drink and go home?
No! Definitely no casserole dishes, but thats beside the point. We would like you to join in the celebrations from Friday to Sunday! Come enjoy a weekend away with family and friends, relax, join in and be a part of the wedding rather than a mere spectator. However, if you can or want to only come for the Saturday, that is fine too. There will be enough accommodation to sleep everyone and all rooms, basic, but comfortable, are within staggering distance of the reception venue.

Our Venue
Nestled within a stunning valley near the seaside village of Gansbaai you will find De Uijlenes, a rustic farm and forest wedding destination. We'll exchange our vows under the leaves of a giant Oak in the depths of an indigenous forest and party the night away in the Old Barn, a 19c former dairy, that has been lovingly converted into a unique reception venue.

We'd like to request that you don't bring a gift. Rather, there will be a box for anonymous envelopes to aid our honeymoon fund. We'd like to keep it anonymous so that there's absolutely no pressure to give.
